MCT2D Partnership & Collaboration Inquiry

Thank you for your interest in partnering with MCT2D. We value thoughtful collaboration with researchers, clinical partners, health systems, community organizations, vendors, and other groups working to improve care for people with type 2 diabetes.

MCT2D is a Collaborative Quality Initiative with established program priorities, active deliverables, and existing commitments to participating physician organizations, practices, clinicians, and patients. Because our staff time and infrastructure are limited, all proposed collaborations must be reviewed before MCT2D involvement can be confirmed.

This brief survey helps us understand the nature of your proposed project and determine the appropriate next step. Some requests may require review by the MCT2D Research Committee, particularly if they involve MCT2D data, analysis, external dissemination, publication, IRB considerations, or participation from MCT2D practices, or patients. Other requests, such as exploring a tool, resource, program, pilot, educational effort, or operational partnership, may be better suited for an initial conversation with MCT2D program leadership and program managers.

Submitting this form does not imply approval or a commitment of MCT2D resources. It allows our team to assess alignment and fit with current MCT2D priorities. External funding or clinical importance does not automatically make a project feasible; all requests are reviewed in the context of program capacity and approved workplans.

To support adequate planning, we encourage proposals to be submitted as early as possible and, when tied to a grant or application deadline, at least one month in advance. After submission, MCT2D leadership will review the request and coordinate appropriate follow-up within two weeks. Depending on the nature of the proposal, next steps may include a program leadership discussion, Research Committee concept review, completion of a full Research Committee proposal form, or a determination that the request is not feasible at this time.
