Eligible primary care physicians, endocrinologists, and nephrologists participating in MCT2D are able to earn an additional 5% value based reimbursement (VBR) over BCBSM’s standard fee schedule through the completion of MCT2D’s VBR metrics. MCT2D’s VBR is currently participation based and consists of requirements such as meeting attendance and process measures aimed at improving care for type 2 diabetes. MCT2D’s VBR is paid prospectively and requirements are met throughout the VBR year. The PCP VBR year is 9/1/2023-8/31/2024. The specialist VBR year is 3/1/2023-2/28/2024.
Select a Role from the dropdown above to view VBR Requirements.
The table displays your VBR requirements based on your selections above. It does not reflect whether or not you have already completed these requirements.
