In May 2025, the learning community webinar featured Kara Mizokami-Stout, MD , MSc, Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine, Medical School, and Jennifer Iyengar, MD, Clinical Associate Professor of Internal Medicine, Medical School.
The meeting focused on insulin therapy for Type 2 Diabetes, covering its physiology, indications, and practical aspects of administration. Presenters discussed various insulin types, delivery methods, and strategies for optimizing treatment while minimizing side effects. The session also addressed patient education, insulin adjustment techniques, and the importance of individualizing care, concluding with a Q&A session on specific clinical scenarios and emerging insulin technologies.
