The meeting covered various aspects of diabetic foot care and neuropathy, including the prevalence and management of diabetic foot ulcers, the importance of annual foot exams, and the classification of diabetic foot infections. Discussions also focused on therapeutic shoes for diabetic patients, the pathogenesis and management of diabetic neuropathy, and the use of FDA-approved medications and supplements for pain relief.
