Freestyle Libre Support Program for Patients (Provided by Abbott)

This free, one-on-one virtual training pairs the patient with one of Abbott’s certified diabetes educators to learn the ins and outs of their Freestyle Libre CGM. Education is provided via video or telephone call.
The education content is a scripted walkthrough of existing Abbott publications, such as the Libre User Manual and patient how-to videos available on Abbott's website. No medical advice will be provided to the individual.
The session is about 45-60 minutes and can be delivered in one or two shorter sessions. The program is available in English, Spanish, Arabic, French, and Russian.
Provider Disclaimer: The prescribing provider will not receive notification or follow-up from Abbott that the Freestyle Libre Support session occurred, nor what was discussed.
MCT2D has requested that Abbott prioritize the integration of such a feedback structure. Use of this program is entirely optional and is not affiliated with MCT2D.
