Honestly it helps our patients grasp the concept that there are many options for managing diabetes, and just because one isn't covered, this doesn't mean that others won't be. Helps them to keep letting us know what is and isn't covered after we send it. however, often it is our PA department that actually communicates with insurance/ gets approvals for our prescriptions so this burden isn't on the patient
