In 2023...
645 individuals attended our live learning community webinars
3,889 (and counting) watched our recorded sessions, totaling
919.4 hours of asynchronous learning!
We couldn't do it without the stewardship of our network of experts:
Like May 2023's invited speaker Devraj Sukul, MD MSc, Clinical Assistant Professor, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and Director of Interventional Cardiology Quality and Outcomes, Michigan Medicine, who discussed, "SGLT-2 Inhibitors and GLP-1 Receptor Agonists:
A Cardiovascular Perspective." Oliver Varban, MD FACS FASMBS, Bariatric Surgery and Weight Management
Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, who presented in July on, "Metabolic Surgery for Prevention and Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes." Kara Mizokami-Stout, MD, MSc, Assistant Professor, Division of Metabolism, Endocrinology & Diabetes, presented, "Continuous Glucose Monitors: Tips and Tricks for Type 2 Diabetes," in December.
All learning community events in this series are recorded and available on the MCT2D YouTube Channel or as a dedicated collection in the MCT2D Resource Library. MCT2D will offer 10 new live learning community webinars in 2024. Members can earn CME and meet their physician-level learning community VBR requirement by attending. The series is held once a month, from Noon to 1 PM (EST), via Zoom. Members are invited to register now.
In each webinar, you will have the chance to dive deeper into a subject, with discussions and presentations led by experts in nephrology, endocrinology, obesity medicine, diabetes management and prevention, diabetes technology, quality improvement, mental health, and more—including many sessions led by MCT2D members.
