Use the updated MCT2D Coverage Checker to search and reference preferred GLP-1 RA's and SGLT2i's across popular Michigan health plans. See prior authorization, step therapy, and formulary information at a glance.
First launched in May 2024, this tool allows Michigan healthcare providers to access detailed, accurate, and actionable information on insurance coverage criteria for continuous glucose monitors (CGM) for type 2 diabetes. With this update, Coverage Checker has expanded to reference diabetes medications. This tool builds on the success of the MCT2D downloadable Coverage Guide, which is still available as a PDF.
With the digital Coverage Checker, users can reference eligibility criteria, preferred products, and next steps for prescribing.
Try the MCT2D Coverage Checker Use the "Email This" button at the bottom of your search to share coverage details with a colleague or patient. Be sure to rate your experience and earn physician-level VBR credit for sharing your feedback on the tool's accuracy.
